RCCG New Breed

Our History

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was founded in 1952 by Pa Josiah Akindayomi in Nigeria. Following a divine call, Pa Akindayomi established RCCG based on a covenant with God, who promised to sustain the church as long as its members remained faithful. He named the church through divine inspiration, even writing it despite being unable to read or write. When Pa Akindayomi passed in 1980, leadership was transferred to Pastor E.A. Adeboye, who led the church through rapid growth. Today, RCCG has thousands of parishes worldwide, with a presence across Africa, Europe, and North America.

RCCG in North America

RCCG’s North American expansion began in 1991 with Pastor James Fadel’s establishment of the first parish, Winner’s Chapel, in Detroit. Now serving as the Continental Overseer for North America, Pastor Fadel oversees over 800 RCCG parishes in the U.S. and Canada. With headquarters in Floyd, Texas, RCCG North America operates under the worldwide leadership of Pastor Adeboye, who continues to inspire and guide its mission to spread Christian teachings and community support across North America.

About New Breed:

In May 2017 in the city of New York while on one of his many mission trips, the General Overseer, Pastor E.A. Adeboye shared the mind of God as revealed to him about the New Breed Churches with the leadership of the church in North America. He said to them that God had told him that he would be sending a group of young men from Africa to execute the vision of the RCCG New Breed Churches and in 2017 these young men began to arrive of their own accord as inspired by God. – This began the fulfilment of this God given vision and mandate to the RCCG North American (RCCGNA) Leadership of the Church through the General Overseer.

Who we are:

The RCCGNA New Breed Church arm of the mission was established to plant multi-cultural, multi-racial, multi-model type of churches that will cater for the overall development of a young generation of upwardly mobile individuals who will rather fellowship in various youthful dimensions within the limits and moderations of the Christian faith. Currently, there are nine of these churches located in the states of Maine, Maryland, Atlanta, New Jersey, Florida, Washington, California, and Texas. The New Breed parishes are coordinated by the Assistant Continental Overseer Church Planting and Missions, Pastor Daniel Ajayi-Adeniran under the leadership of Pastor James Fadel and the General Overseer, Pastor E. A. Adeboye.
Our Vision and Mission:

1. To make heaven. 2. To take as many people as possible with us. 3. To have a member of RCCG in every family of all nations. 4. To accomplish No. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle. 5. To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries. 6. We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the world is reached for the Lord Jesus Christ
